How to Contact MLS NEXT Pro Teams

Players interested in MLS NEXT Pro opportunities can reach out directly to relevant staff members at clubs they are interested in.

Depending on the team, the right person may be a head coach, assistant coach, general manager, technical director, sporting director, scout, or other member of the soccer operations staff.

When contacting an MLS NEXT Pro club, keep your message short and professional. Consider including:

• Your name and age

• Position

• Current or previous club

• Playing experience

• Highlight video

• Player profile or soccer résumé

• A short explanation of why you are contacting that specific club

Reaching out to a coach or club does not guarantee a trial or roster opportunity, but it gives players a direct way to introduce themselves and put their information in front of relevant soccer staff.
