The club states that it cannot provide visa assistance or letters of invitation.

Players must independently ensure they can legally travel to the United States and participate in the event.

Is the LA Galaxy 2 Tryout in Los Angeles?

No. The currently announced November 21–22, 2026, open tryout is in Las Vegas, Nevada, not Los Angeles or Ventura County.

However, the tryout is officially organized for the LA Galaxy's MLS NEXT Pro team, Ventura County FC.

Is Ventura County FC the Same Team as LA Galaxy II?

Yes. Ventura County FC is the former LA Galaxy II.

On March 15, 2024, the LA Galaxy announced that their professional second team would compete under the new Ventura County FC name through a partnership with Oak Sports Holding.

Before the rebrand, the team was widely known as:

• LA Galaxy II

• LA Galaxy 2

• Los Dos

Today, the official team name is Ventura County FC, commonly abbreviated VCFC.

The rebrand changed the club's identity and home market, but it did not create a separate second team.

The LA Galaxy continue to control soccer operations, including the professional development pathway.

This means that players searching for LA Galaxy II tryouts should look for official MLS NEXT Pro Open Tryouts associated with Ventura County FC.

Following the 2024 rebrand, the club began playing home matches at William Rolland Stadium at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

The team has also hosted matches at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, including its 2026 playoff home match.

Players should consult the official schedule for the current match venue.

Yes. The club has publicly identified a player who earned an opportunity after attending its open tryouts.

Levon Saribekyan attended a 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Open Tryout and subsequently signed with Ventura County FC.

The LA Galaxy specifically cite Saribekyan in their official tryout information as an example of a player discovered through the program.

This demonstrates that the tryout process can lead to a professional opportunity.
